Lethe sings a winter's song. This work was inspired by driving over the Missouri River in mid-November as a crane flew low over the water. Joni Mitchell's "River" immediately came to mind; as did myriad other river/winter songs. These and the colors of the rural Mid-West in winter inform this piece
